Haven't been here for awhile. Daughter is posting on her blog about weight and training results, so thought I would too.

Started a weight loss program due to high blood sugar and a suggestion from the doc to try to get my blood sugar stabilized. Started the South Beach Diet in October and have lost 21 lbs so far and gotten my blood sugar down by 13 pts, to where it is close to my goal. Happy with results, though I must give a caveat: my scale is undependable, so the actual loss may not be accurate. I'm not trying to fudge. But my scale sucks.
